Who makes Spook
My name is Matteo Quintaneiro. I build Spook on my own, in Paris, to understand where my money goes and know when to act on my subscriptions. I am the publisher of the website and the app, as a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 939 240 016): the full details are in the legal notice.
The app works without an account and without a bank connection. It shows no ads and sells no data (privacy policy).
Why cancellation guides
Cancelling is often the most painful part of a subscription: notice periods that are poorly explained, terms that change, websites that charge you for a registered letter you do not need. Each guide gives the answer first, then the official, free way to do it, checked against the service’s terms and dated.

Independence
- No provider pays to appear in Spook, to be ranked higher or to be featured. Offers are ranked only by the saving they would bring you (how offers are chosen).
- To date, Spook has no partnership or commercial link with the services it tracks or that the guides cover, and receives no commission. If that changes, it will be shown on each offer concerned.
- The guides contain no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no sale of letters or registered mail.
- Their only call to action is downloading Spook.
- Spook does not cancel subscriptions for you: the guides explain how to do it yourself.
